Kathy Bauer has been singing country music most all her life. She got her start at Gilley's in Pasadena where she met the country artist Sylvia (Nobody & Tumbleweed) who invited her to come to Nashville. Kathy charted on Billboard's Top 100 with the song "Hold Me Til the Last Waltz is Over", She did demos for writers like Hank Cochran and Harlan Howard. She also worked for Loretta Lynn's publishing company Coal Miners Music. A highlight of her career was opening for Jerry Lee Lewis at The Yellow Rose in Corpus Christi. After raising her family Kathy is back to her first love, singing. She is based out of Bandera Texas and is currently working on her new CD.
