Random selection means that one ad is chosen for display, by chance -- but that chance may be influenced by keyword matching. If one of your keyword triggers matches the current page's title, category, or tag fields, then your ad is much more likely to be selected. For example if you use golf for a trigger, then when someone browses the Golf Course category, searches for "golf", or views any course's detail page, then there is a much greater chance of your ad being shown. In some cases this may even mean that your ad is always shown for a particular page.
A Small Side Bar ad is shown on every page view that contains a side bar.
Flash or otherwise animated advertisements will be allowed, but will incur an extra charge.
